Weather
The weather in Todos Santos is generally very pleasant. Because of its location near the Tropic of Cancer, Todos Santos climate tends to be moderately warm; due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, Todos Santos never gets too hot and maintains a cools breeze even in cloudless days – some say that Todos Santos is almost always ten degrees cooler than La Paz or Cabo San Lucas.
Todos Santos weather is primarily hinged on the activity in the Pacific Ocean. The currents of the Pacific Ocean tends to dictate seasonal variations in the weather in Todos Santos. Often, these variations are quite surprising – particularly to visitors who are not used to the semi-erratic nature of tropical-coastal weather. For example, the arbitrary (American) spring and summer months – April to June - tend to have cooler weather than those of the arbitrary (American) winter months – February and March – in Todos Santos, thanks to the currents which bring about thick morning mists. Todos Santos is at its warmest from July until November, when the ocean’s temperature increases.
Todos Santos weather is in its most dangerous and erratic from August to October; it’s when hurricanes and tropical storms from the south are most likely to visit Todos Santos. Called the chubasco (shower in English) months, these three months are the most humid in a Todos Santos year and are the months when most locals take the opportunity to take out-of-town trips. Still, business in Todos Santos continues all-year round.
Todos Santos weather is what many would call comfortable, and is ideal for relaxation and slow living.
